Hi, my name is Paul and I am working as a 'Manager Unix Systems' @ the DAB bank. I take care of the Linux / Unix environment, Middleware Server (Tomcat & JBoss), Puppet configuration and I do some financial controling. I also take part in several cross functional project teams that reshap the current IT infrastructure.

After my day job I study at the Munich Business School to achieve a Master in Business Administration (MBA). I also organized, with 3 fellow students, the 4th Munich Venture Summit in 2012. We brought together Start-Ups, Venture Capital and Students to grow the Munich & German Start-Up scene.

Befor that I have worked for Red Hat as an IT Consultant, taking care of medium and big sized customers. I focused on Cluster, Satellite and Virtualization vith KVM and XEN. Before my role as Consultant I was a Helpdesk Engineer and Team Lead for the Red Hat EMEA Service Desk. I recived the "Performer of the year 2009" award as the first person ever in the Service Desk team.

I received my first degree in political science from the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität in munich, and did my Abitur (~A-Levels) at the Neusprachliches Gymnasium in Tutzing.
